So I've been reading around that Dana 35's are weak off road and I dont have a lot of funds for my jeep and I was wondering if Dana 40 axles will fit in a 35 axle housing and will a locker fit also or should I just get a whole new rear axle, I know it's a silly question but just a random thought.

My real name is Kris I'm from a small town Cabot Vermont, I have a '91 yj with 3" lift on 32's but that'll change soon! Maybe stock but I'll wheel it just as hard as someone with 40's may not make it as far but I'll get an A for effort lol
